Crystal Denise Mullins JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. Crystal Denise Mullins, 31 passed away on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a Teacher for the Dickenson County School system. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Phyliss Mullins; great-grandparents, Edd and Lola Mullins; and a great-uncle, John Ed Mullins. She is survived by her mother, Denise Mullins Balthis, of Clintwood, Va.; sisters, Jessica Jane Balthis: of Clintwood, Jerri Renee Potter of Pound, Va.; maternal grandfather, Carl Mullins, Clintwood; four aunts, Rhonda White of Arizona, Cheryll Stanley of Richlands, Deonna "Charlie" McCready and husband, Sam, of Meadowview, Va, Carman Lund and husband, Jason, of Meadowview; two uncles, Steven Mullins of Clintwood and Randall Mullins and wife, Jebra, of Pound,Va.; niece, Madison Ryan Gentry of Pound; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends Thursday evening Nov. 24, 2011, at 6 p.m. , with a song services at 7 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services for Crystal Mullins will be conducted Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Clergyman Willie Cantrell and William McClanahan and Bill Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Powers Family Cemetery Rt 72 Coeburn, Va. Pallbearers will be Scotty Setser, Randy Mullins, Steven Mullins, Sam McCready, Jason Helton, Wesley Stanley, Greg Potter, Eric Taylor, Brayden Mullins. Honorary pallbearers Nate Stovall and Teaching Staff at Longs Fork Elementary School and special friend, Chandra Mullins and Crystals Food City family.
