Crystelle L Chilson

Crystelle L. Chilson, 20, a lifelong Alaskan, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 in Anchorage. The location for the Memorial Service for Crystelle has changed. Her Memorial Service will be held at the Nikiski Community Recreation Center, Mile 23.4 of the Kenai Spur Highway, at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015.
Crystelle was born Jan. 19, 1995 in Soldotna. She grew up on the Kenai Peninsula attending school in Nikiski. She moved to the Wasilla area in her mid-teens where she graduated a year early from high school. She was recently living and working in the Anchorage area.
Crystelle was exceedingly creative. At a very young age she would express herself by writing stories and plays. She loved making music, and became an excellent self-taught guitarist and began to both write and perform original songs that came from her heart.
Crystelle had a beautiful smile and a radiant twinkle in her eye. She was full of dreams, full of hope and possibilities for her life. She loved her savior Jesus, and deep within her heart was never far from Him. She loved her friends and relationships, the smiles and laughter they shared together, and the excitement of both being with people, but also the interaction with them.
Crystelle was truly a friend to many and will be missed by all who ever knew her.
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Sandy Chilson.
She is survived by her mother, Christine Tweedy; father, Todd Chilson; brother, Chance; grandparents Henry and Nancy Haney; and grandfather, Dick Chilson; aunts and uncles, Lisa Haney and Artie Soria, Henry and Latisha Haney, Shanette and Shane Wik, Keith Chilson, Margo Pabst, Sabrina McGraw, and Desi Lonch; and cousins, James Cross, Isabella Soria, Jordan Chilson and Kali Brickley and Justin, Brando, Emma and Grace Wik.
