In 1986 I attended a seminar taught by Dr Buddingh that changed the trajectory of my life. Over the years our relationship changed from a professional one to a friendship. I visited Curt at his home in Palm Springs many times and our families became close. Curt was much more than just a mentor to me and a great example of how to treat other people and live life.

I first met Curtis in 1978 when he was my SOT instructor at Cleveland Chiropractic College - Los Angeles with David Denton. At that time they were working together in West Los Angeles, before Curtis moved his office to the San Fernando Valley. He was always one of my favorite teachers of SOT as he always made me think, ponder. and consider what he was teaching me. Curtis was a very novel innovative thinker and profoundly generous with sharing through teaching. Often we would have study groups gatherings at his office where he would teach a group of interested doctors -- just out of the goodness of his heart.
I had the opportunity to work with him, when he came to work in my Santa Monica office for a few years before he moved to the Palm Springs area. He always had a slow warm voice and caring eyes that always made me think he never left his youth behind. I am so grateful that we had time together and that he could be my teacher, colleague, and friend. He shared so much that no matter what he will always be with me.
