BUECHLER, Curtis James Curtis James Buechler was born September 22, 1965. Curtis passed away July 1, 2018. September of 2016 he was given the unexpected and heartbreaking diagnosis of Cancer. During the next 22 months he fought hard and was extremely brave. His family finds comfort in the wonderful time they had together filled with love and laughter. Curtis was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, spent his entire childhood on East Hill in Saskatoon. Curtis loved sport he played hockey, baseball and rode dirt bikes. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing. He loved the prairies, watching the geese with his dogs by his side may have been his favourite. As a journeyman pipefitter he worked hard and was very proud of his trade. Later in his career he developed his skills becoming a construction manager, Curtis worked on many projects throughout western Canada. 1997 Curtis married Tracy, they moved from Saskatoon to Prince Albert. August 1998 son Troy was born, January 2000 daughter Tamara. Curtis was a natural husband and father. He gave his family a wonderful life and was so proud of the amazing people his children have become. Curtis is survived by wife Tracy (Woolsey), son Troy, daughter Tamara. Father Neil, brother Brent (Vicki), sister Jill. In laws Bill and Marie Jensen, Gordon, Tyler and Justin Woolsey, Craig Woolsey, Shelley and Jason Woolsey, Nelsen, Kelly and Kris Jensen. Curtis was preceded by his mother Verna Buechler (Hammond) and father-in-law Roy Woolsey. A celebration will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 4 p.m., Martens Warman Funeral Home, 402 Central Street West, Warman, Sask. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established on behalf of Curtis at the Saskatoon SPCA, The Second Chance Fund. Special thanks to our dear friend Colleen Olson, her wisdom and compassion will never be forgotten. Arrangements in care of MARTENS WARMAN FUNERAL HOME (306-934-4888).
