As the Bible says, "to be absent from the body IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD". As Curt looks down from heaven today, he KNOWS one day, I will see him there too. Because of our Lord and Saviour JESUS! Your friend, Ed Freeman (1970).

I first met Curt in 1964 when I started my professional career at the South Side YMCA in Columbus and it became a thrill for 52 years . We laughed and shared memories each time we met through all the years thereafter . I don't feel his passing ends a chapter in our book of friendship but only a new chapter .
Sharon and his family I know will miss his laugh and great smile .He gave so much time to so many organizations and now he is sharing his knowledge in heaven and is working for his Lord as he did on earth . God rest his soul and give his family the strength he had all his life , while they morn his passing .

Curt was a really great guy. When he asked me to run in the Corporate Challenge in Columbus, I could only say I only ran to the bathroom. But he taught me how and I did it. I always appreciated the efforts he took to help everyone.

Curt was one of a kind. I had the pleasure of working with Curt for many years. He was one who cared, a doer and most of all someone who would help people. The world will be a bit smaller with his passing.

I am so sorry that I am unable to be there with the Haywood family, but my thoughts, prayers, and certainly all my love are sent to you today and always. Curt was undoubtedly one of the BEST people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and he was a positive, beautiful influence on my life and on my family's lives. Now that Curt, Norma, and Fergy are all together, I have to believe that Heaven will be a much more happenin, fit place !! Many Thanks for all the wonderful memories, I love you, Jill
