Curtis was a close friend of my brother, Peter Manes. I can remember many a fun time laughing at his antics during my teenage years when I got to know him. I especially remember his imitation of his Canadian uncle "Ormie". His many stories of his uncle were so funny I can still remember them and still laugh at them when I think of Curtis.
I was so impressed with Curtis as he had many talents. I did not know about his ability as a painter but I recall he was a beautiful hairdresser. Curtis was a fun and funny guy as well as a truly gifted human being! I really cherish my memories of him and the happy times I always had whenever he was around!
Rest in peace beloved Curtis.

I tried so hard to get back in touch with Curt over the years and it's so depressing that this is what I found. I really treasured the times we had way back when.
