I'm a member of the Executive Board from the H-J-J Design Partners mentioned above. I recently heard of Curtis' passing, and wanted to pass along our deepest condolences to his family and friends in this difficult time. I heard extremely complimentary words about Curtis as being a really good person with a strong his work ethic, and someone who was well-respected by his teammates in Seattle. We are thinking of you! Best regards, Margaret Simmons-Cross, Sr VP, Mott MacDonald, Seattle, WA

There are so many things left unsaid. Thank you for your light. Thank you for your trust. And your words will always ring true in my ear forever about staying the course, staying true to yourself and staying focused. You always made sure to lead with laughter and understanding. I will miss you. And always carry the torch for you however seems fit. Love you brother. Thank you for becoming my friend.

Curtis you are loved and will be dearly missed. That big grin will always be in Auntie s memory and how you use to tease me about my Christmas sweaters. Another angel to look after Auntie. Rest In Peace.

No friendship is an accident. Abigail London once wrote, "People come into your path for a reason, a season or a lifetime." Curtis came into my life at a very difficult point, and with him, he brought light, love, and acceptance. He helped me up when I had taken a long and painful fall. His voice was like a warm hug that seemed to come right on time. While we didn't talk all the time, when we did it was like we never had lost time or space. I came to love his temperament which was stern, but full of humor. He never let me feel sorry for myself and always had words of praise when I doubted myself. Curtis was and will always be in my heart. While his transition is hard for me, my job is to accept the blessing of his friendship, love him, and put what he taught me in use in all other relationships and areas of my life. My sincerest condolences and may Curtis rest in peace.
