CYNTHIA LYNN ADKINS

Cynthia Lynn Hoover was born on October 26, 1956, in Fresno, California. She entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2013, in Colorado Springs, Co. Cindy graduated from Sierra Joint Union High School in June of 1973. She also graduated from Fresno City College in 1988 as a Paralegal. She married Bob Davis in 1976 and was blessed with son, Mathew Charles Davis on June 21, 1980. The family lived in Marysville before moving back to Fresno. Cindy married David L. Adkins in September 1991 and the family resided in Fresno until June of 2011 when they relocated to Colorado Springs and eventually to Florissant, Co. Cindy is survived by her husband, David Adkins of Florissant, Co.; step-son, Christapher Adkins (Jennifer) of Colorado Springs, Co.; a given daughter, Corena Maurer (Robby) of Hanford; sister, Georgia Busch of Modesto; niece, Helaina Helton (Jeremy) of Modesto; brother, Ernie Hoover (Vicky) of Auberry; brother-in-law, Bryan (Heather) Adkins of Mo.; and sister-in-law, Kimberley Allen- Adkins of Fresno. Cindy also had many nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Destanie, Tyler, Annastasia, Holly and Cheyenne of Colorado Springs, Co.; four grand-nephews, Pryce, Mason, Tyler and Hunter; and grand-niece, Charlotte of Modesto. Cindy will be especially missed by her ever faithful (spoiled) miniature dachshund's T-Bone and Betty. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Georgia Hoover; her son, Mathew C. Davis; and step-son, Randy Scott Adkins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church, 2026 Arrants Street, Selma Ca. 93662. A pot luck luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Church hall. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Cindy's name to, Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill St., Colorado Springs, Co. 80906.
