Cynthia Lynn Burr

Cynthia Lynn Burr passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 64 in Covington, La. She was born in Lansing, Michigan and spent her formative years moving around the midwest from Michigan to Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Pennsylvania. Cynthia attended Providence High School in Clarksville, Indiana, graduating in the class of 1975. She went on to attend Indiana University, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree in English in 1979. Cynthia worked as a software sales consultant for Vantive, Peoplesoft and Oracle, a career that led her to travel all over the world. Her travels fit her adventurous spirit and matched her adventurous life having lived all over the United States, Australia and Costa Rica. She loved to travel, explore new places, scuba diving, swimming, reading, meeting new people and raising her beloved dogs. She leaves behind friends everywhere she has been and has touched so many. She will be dearly missed. Cynthia is survived by her parents, Ken and Barbara Burr of Mandeville, LA, her brother Robert Burr and wife Christel Schneider Burr of Abita Springs, LA, her sister Mindy Burr Stuart and her husband John Stuart of Lafayette, LA, nephews Alex Stuart and Paul Burr and niece Miranda Burr Audibert. She also leaves behinds numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends across the country.
