Godfrey, Cynthia Ann (nee-Janks) Dateline: Lake Hiawatha Cynthia Ann (nee-Janks) Godfrey, passed away from cancer on January 6th 2009 in Parsippany, N.J. She was born in 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Joyce & William Janks II. Cynthia attended Skyline High School & graduated from Crozer Tech High School. She also attended USC & UCLA in Los Angeles & Chubb Institute in NJ. She worked for ADP for I8 Years in Redmon, WA., Los Angeles & Roseland, NJ. Cynthia also worked for Prudential Insurance Company in Roseland for the past 10 years. Cynthia is pre-deceased by her mother, Joyce Janks; her aunts: Vera Bank & Nelda Fitzgerald; her uncle, L.R. Fitgerald Jr., & her cousin, Durward Bark Jr. Survivors include her son: Jason Godfrey of Dallas; her father: William Janks II and his wife, Mary of Dallas; her cousins: David Bark of Garland, Texas & Jean Ann Fitzgerald of Portland, Oregon.

Cyndi,
You let your light shine always. Your humor, wit and laughter made life easier for those who were lucky enough to be in your path.
I am stunned of your passing. I thank you for your courage in telling me of your disease.
Cyndi, I will miss you. Though I am even sadder for those that didn't get to even know you.
You helped me more than words can ever express. Thank you for not only saving my life, but for helping me through my darkest days.
My heart aches that Diane has to deal with the reality that you too have been called home.
Look after her.
I will too.
