Kodak - Cynthia (Cindy) Archer Keener, a dear wife and mother passed away in her home surrounded by all her loving family Sunday afternoon September 1, 2024, in Kodak. Though she fought an exhausting battle with brain cancer, the battle was won when she took her last earthly breath. Cindy was a wife of forty-one years and a mother to three daughters. Cindy took pride and joy in taking care of her family, she also loved to cook, plant her gardens and beautiful flowers, canning home-grown vegetables and "going to the mountains." She was formerly a resident of Maynardville, TN, Cindy attended service in her earlier years at Milan Baptist Church (Maynardville) and later attended The Crossing Church of Kodak. She served 22 years to the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier, she loved her job and all her customers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Judson V. Archer. Mother, Mildred C. Archer. Brothers, Glenn Archer and Floyd Archer. Grandparents, Esker and Lillie Archer. William "Bill" and Raye Cooper, all residents of Maynardville, TN. Father and Mother-in-law, Joe and Elvira "Bill" Keener of Kodak, TN. Sister-in-law, Rita Headrick of Pigeon Forge, TN.

Cindy leaves behind her husband, Ronnie Keener. Her daughters, Amanda, Harlee and Tatum Keener, all residents of Kodak. Brother, David (Vicki) Archer of Corryton, TN. Sisters, Teresa (Ron) Best of Cosby, TN and Tracey (Chris) Pressnell of Maynardville, TN. Sister-in-law, Connie Archer of Maynardville, TN. Brother and sister- in laws, Ricky and Teri Keener, Michael and Janet Keener all of Kodak, TN. Alvin Headrick of Pigeon Forge. Aunts, Louise Crawford and Bobbie Reach. And a large host of special cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Friday September 6, 2024, at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville with a service following at 6 PM officiated by Pastor Brandon Cate, Pastor Ronnie Dotson, and Pastor Chad Ricker. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15 AM Saturday, September 7, 2024, for a graveside and interment at Pollard Cemetery in Kodak.
