My dear friend Cindy,
I returned home last week to find your post card from Europe. What a series of adventures you´ve had this year! I´m so glad you and your family spent these times together and I´m grateful that you thought of me while you were there. I´m not able to be at Cindy´s service today, but I will be thinking of her family and all our friends. Cindy was the first person to welcome me to the faculty at UIW and we shared so many memories talking on her old couch in her office. I remember going home the first day I met her and telling my family that I made a new friend today. :) that was and understatement! Cindy was my friend for the rest of her life and I will always treasure the laughs, talks, and times we had together. I will never forget the last time I got to hug her in December. We knew it would be the last time. Cindy, I love you and i promise we will work hard to carry on your sweet memory and the gifts you shared with the world.

Mrs. Richardson,

Thank you for being such a kind person. Thank you for being the light we all needed during the toughest times in nursing school. I will never forget the times you helped and encouraged me. I am better for knowing you, better for having met you. Heaven gained the most loving and fun angel when you left us.

I remember Cindy in high school. We were not close friends but I still enjoyed her kindness and friendliness. Deepest sympathy to her friends and family.
