Mrs. Silvernail was my Kindergarten teacher in 1966. She was kind and so very sweet. She and Mrs. Martin provided me with such great memories.
I remember sitting in the big circle learning Baba Black Sheep, having Butter cookies and milk, gym time in the big room, playing with baby dolls in carriages, sliding down the big slide, and so much more!
I too was a teacher. I taught fourth grade. It´s the most rewarding and joyous time of my life. She´s fondly remembered as a gentle and loving teacher. It´s no surprise she taught.
My condolences to her entire family.

I think of Ms Silvernail and Ms Martin here and there. I am almost 60. They were my kindergarten teachers. Awesome the way they cared for their students and the families that came through the school. Just wanted to share how wonderful they both were.

I still think of her everyday as I use her cat mug for coffee. Many great memories, miss you and your happy, positive being. I love you. Susie

Mrs. Silvernail was my kindergarten teacher back in 1964 (I believe). I have fond memories of that time - including Salerno butter cookies & milk, naptime, learning the months of the year and more. May the Lord be your strength at this time

My thoughts are with you all during this hard time. Your mother was my kindergarten teacher along with Mary Martin at Carrie Roundy. I remember how kind she was and how important the students were to her. She will be sorely missed.
