D’Vontae “DJ” James Moore Sr. was born on October 02, 1997, in Belle Glade, Florida to: Beverly Moore (Clewiston, FL) and Clyde Neil (Apopka, FL).
(Sunset) on March 10th, 2023, he departed this life to be with the Lord.
D’Vontae was a member of Miracle Deliverance Center#3 (Moore Haven FL) for most of his early years and later became a member of the City of The Lord Church (Clewiston FL). At a young age, he was a student of the Miracle Deliverance Center Dance School, he was also a student of the Clewiston Performing Art Center. He then played soccer for 2 years with AYSO and afterward played football with Pop Warner for 3 years.
During the time he participated in these events, D’Vontae received many certificates and awards for being an outstanding player, team player, and hard worker. He did his absolute best in whatever he participated in to make his team look good and feel proud.
D’Vontae graduated from Clewiston High School in 2016.
D’Vontae is survived by his loving parents; Beverly Moore(Clewiston FL), and Clyde Neil(Gwen) (Apopka FL) the joy of his life his three beautiful children; Layla Daniels(Laterica Gray) D’Vontae James Moore Jr.(Dejah Greaves) and Hazel Valerie Moore(Sara McKown); a maternal sister; D’Asjiah Preston (Clewiston FL), and four paternal sisters and brothers; Katrina Neil,(Syracuse, NY) Kiera Preston and Lashayla Preston(both of Clewiston FL), brothers; Clyde Tyrell Neil(deceased), Antonio Neil(Mary) and Carlton Lee(both of Lakeland FL) Maternal grandparents; Mildred Brookin and Willie James Brookin (deceased) and paternal grandparents; Willie Lou Neil and Clyde Neil Sr. (both deceased). Aunts; Valerie Moore Peters(deceased)(Anthony) Tammie Coleman, Michelle Brookin, Emma Burnette, Stella Moorer, Jessie Moore, Erma J Moore, Coretta Slydell(Rob), Clara Harrell, Katherine Galvin (Ricky), Mary L. Chisolm (Wilbur), Uncles; Ronald Moore, Zacary Brookin(Jackie), Willie Coleman, Freddie Moore, James Aurthur Neil(deceased), Raymond Neil, Samuel Sapp, Joe Lee Williams(Linda)
D’Vontae is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and close friends. His compassion and kindness will live on through all of them.
