On your 89th birthday Mom.
We hold you close within our hearts
And there you shall remain
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again
So rest in peace dear darling Mom
And thanks for all you've done
We pray that God has given you
The crown you've truly won!
We all miss you so, Mom.

Hey Grandma,
It's me Kathy your grand daughter who adored you and will always do.
Today (yesterday) 89 years ago a flower flourished by the name of Daisy. This person is you! I was blessed to have you in my life as a baby and growing up into a young lady. Even though are lives took a different path true out the years by a long seperation between are family's I'm very glad that you and grandpa had a chance to meet your great grand sons Yannick and Brandon. Even though my son was very young at the time to this day he still remembered you and he is very saddened by this event. So grandma were sending you lots of birthday kisses and lots of hugs, and pass it to grandpa.
Love you, miss you, and god bless this women to keep us save.

Hi Grandma
We're writing to you today even though we found out years later that March 2 is your actual birthday. But as kids we always celebrated on March 1. So happy 89th birthday Grandma. We can't really believe you're not here, it's surreal. But we know it's for the best. We love you with all our hearts and miss you like crazy but Mom says we are to focus on the fact that you're with Grandpa again. He's been without you for 9 years and it was time to give you back to him. So that makes us feel a bit better and lessens the pain somewhat. But our world without you will never be the same and for that we mourn. But the good news is that the crocus and tulips are coming out in the front yard, you know the purple ones you love so much. Mom says she can't wait to get gardening again. We'll sit on your swing and enjoy the flowers and forever be grateful that you are our grandmother.
With all our love and gratitude

may we share a poem that we cherished when we lost our beloved Papa.
Her journey's just begun
don't think of her as gone away
her journey's just begun.
life holds so many facets...
this earth is only one.
just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days or years.
Think of how she must be wishing that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
and think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost...
and she was loved so much.
our hearts are with you

Dear Margie and George:
Our deepest sympathies!
When our mother leaves us, we know that the next generation to depart will be ours.
As Victor Hugo said:
Oh! L’amour d’une mère!
Amour que nul n’oublie!
Pain merveilleux qu’un Dieu partage et multiplie!
Table toujours servie au paternel foyer!
Chacun en a sa part et tous l’ont tout entier!

Our Mother's Hands
Our mother's hands touched us, caressed us, held us to her breast
They moulded us, protected us, loving heart beating in her chest.
Slender fingers massaged us, nurtured us, wiped tears from crying eyes.
We held those tender hands to our hearts as we watched our mother die.
The tiny hands are gone now, gone to a better place
But we'll feel her with us forever
Gently brushing our saddened face.
We were blessed to have known those wonderful hands
Hands that made our lives whole
We give thanks for a long life of caring
For those hands have touched our soul!

God saw you were getting tired,
And help was not to be,
So He put His arms around you,
And whispered, "Come to me",
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away,
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
Rest in peace, Mom.
