She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and sang with the Madsen Memorial Chorus. In her later years, she looked forward to family get TEW-gethers, camping and picnicking with her loved ones, and watching videos with her friends.
She is survived by seven children: Don Calvert (Gloria) Tew, Merrill Lloyd (Alta) Tew, Genielle (Winn) Brown, Nolan Allred (Shirley) Tew, Ramona (Pete) Bogardus, Beverly (Allan) Hash, and Wayne Leon (Patrice) Tew; 36 grandchildren; 105 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Olive Allred.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Farrell, 15 brothers and sisters, 1 daughter-in-law, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Dear Tew Family,

I want to extend my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. I lost my mother in November and it leaves an empty space you cannot fill. I am a relative on the Tew side and I will always remember Uncle Merrill and Aunt Daily at the reunions singing and having a good. They were both delightful people! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Tew Family, what a gracious woman your mother was. You were so lucky to have her. Your dad was my seminary teacher, and music teacher. Of course your mother was always at the piano when I came to your house for a vocal lesson. Do you remember one time I stayed with you when your folks went out of town for a few days. I couldn't believe they trusted me to feed you and keep you alive while they were gone. I am hoping that Sister Tew didn't have to suffer. I know each of you has wonderful memories of her.

Sincerely

Jack and Marion Jones

To the Tew Family

Both your mom and dad were great supporters of the local AARP meetings. After your father's death Daisy would still come and play the piano for a sing-a-long. How we all enjoyed her talent. She was a great inspiation to all of us and will be greatly missed.
