Dale Diaz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 7, 2004.
Dale W. Diaz Sr., of Dunlevy, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 3, 2004. Dale was a certified dental technician and accomplished musician. His love of music and travel took him all over the United States with the "Country Movers." He also played bass and sang with a very talented voice with many area musicians. His fulfillment of a dream took him to Nashville as a recording artist. He was a member of Tri-County Musical Society Local 592 for 46 years and served as the financial secretary. Mr. Diaz also loved gardening and giving away what he grew to friends and family. His love for outdoors was his answer to peace, a mountain stream with his fishing pale, a tent in the woods, roughing it. He also was a member of American Legion Post 22 of Charleroi, the Eagles Club of Bentleyville and the East Pike Sportsman's Club. Mr. Diaz was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Milton Diaz of Fisher Heights and his beloved pet of 17 years, "Boo". He is survived by his children, Charles "Chuck" Diaz of Dunlevy, Lori Mitchell and Dale W. Diaz Jr., both of Charleroi, and Tara Beveridge of Cape May, N.J.; one brother, Milton "Dink" Diaz and wife Darlene of Hickory' and one sister Joie Diaz Hormel of East Palestine, Ohio; grandchildren, Aaron Mitchell, Jerame Pinchalk, Cassie Diaz, Kalie Theakston and Victoria Beveridge; one great-grandson, Blaine Anthony Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews. His family will love and miss him for an eternity. His friends will miss him for the compassion Dale had to find a little good in everyone. Dale was a very special man. Services were held at the convenience of the family. The SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME INC., Charleroi, was in charge of arrangements. Donations can be made in Dale's memory to the American Heart Association.
