I grew up with Dale in New Hyde Park , New York and went to school with her, grade school to high school(New Hyde Park Memorial High School). She lived across the park from me. I remember having a crush on her, her smile and vivacious ways were infectious. She was a sweetheart. It is sobering how life can erode even the gentle spirited ones among us. My sincere condolences to all her friends and family

I only knew Dale for three years -- 1969 to 1971. I still have wonderful memories of having met someone so beautiful and so talented. Of all the things that I remember from my English classes in Strode Tower, Dale overwhelms them all. I hope she found things in life that brought similar joy to her heart.

Dear Liz and "Doc" ,
I will never forget being dazzled by Dale's beauty and brilliance in classes at Clemson. I pray that her spirit at last has found peace. Sincerely, Cyndy (and Colin) Urquhart
