I was shocked to hear of Dallas passing, BIG D as I always called him and
myself had many adventures together, while working the business together
he was a man that always made you smile, he could make you laugh at
at a moments notice, he was our leader in the Upstate Six Pack, my prayers
and thoughts go out to Aaron, Erika, and their families, Big D will be sorely missed. Sincerely, Dave (Beast), Mary Bordeaux

Our deepest heartfelt sympathies to The Shields family.
He hired me in late 1979 and changed my life. I called him "Coach"! He taught me the ins and outs of "magazine sale" fund raising for my schools in western Pa. & how to "compete". He loved calling me "Mighty" and told me "I'm going to make you a star"!His kickoffs were hilarious. He was hilarious. The man was simply dynamic. So many fond memories. He will be missed... One of thee very best.. RIP "Coach"...

Dallas and Maryann were my favorite cousins. When their children were young they would visit and spend some holidays with my family. They brought so much happiness with them. Those memories will stay with me forever,

Dallas was a happy man who shared his love of life through humor. When Dallas was present everybody had smiles on their faces and laughter filled the room! I believe his best attribute was helping individuals and groups reach their goals.
Thanks Dallas for your friendship, your recommendation to the company to hire me, and your mentoring that opened new horizons for me and others!

Erika and Butch. I was so sorry to read your Dad's death notice in the Buff. News. We first met in college but became close friends with both him and your Mom when you moved to Hamburg. We have so many fond memories of time spent with them. My deepest sympathy. Joyce Huen

We are shocked to hear of Dallas's passing. My father (Hal) hired Dallas as a SPR with Curtis School Plan. I just informed my father (97) Everyone thought the world of Dallas. He surely will be missed by many people.

I was sorry and shocked to hear of your father's passing. Pastor announced it at Wednesday evening Lenten service. I remember him as a faithful member of Saturday evening service. Prayers of comfort and peace for your family.

I worked with Dallas for years at St.Mary's HS in Lancaster NY. He helped me with the annual magazine sale. No matter what happened he always stayed calm. He was always smiling had such a positive attitude. I have been retired now for 10 years and lost track of him. You all have my sympathy and will be in my prayers. marykay posluszny

Dallas was the most hilarious person I've ever met in my whole life. He and Rodney Dangerfield can now entertain all of heaven.
