DAMON GIEBLER Obituary
Age 46, of Springdale, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Beloved fiancé of Trisha Znosko; loving father of Blaze Giebler; cherished son of Gary and Kerry (Kusserow) Giebler; adored brother of Erin (Adam) Hill; awesome uncle of Lincoln and Reagan Hill. Damon was a hilarious bundle of energy with a giving heart. He was a part of countless people's lives and loved by many. His loss is truly a great one felt deep. He was a talented master carpenter and was proud of everything he built, from the napkin holder fashioned in shop class his parents still have on their counter to the most beautiful homes throughout Pennsylvania and Virginia. His greatest creation is his son, Blaze, whom he never thought he'd "be so lucky to get the chance to have." He loved Blaze so strongly it permeated every part of his life. Damon loved repeating his childhood with his son on their go-kart and playing with trucks. Damon wanted to teach Blaze so much and was amazed at everything his "buds" could learn. He was so proud to be his daddy. Family and friends are welcome at a visitation on Thursday, May 31, 2018, 5-7 p.m. with a service starting at 6:30 p.m. at THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 930 Center Ave., Blawnox, PA 15238. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made care of the Funeral Home or Giebler Family to assist with Blaze's future.

Everytime I look at my fireplace, Ill think of you. I found that CD you lent me too. You will be so missed. You genuinely cared about people. My life was better because I met you.

I didn't know Damon very well. I left PA when he was just a kid, and after that we always seemed to be in different states.
Our political views were miles apart as well. He was a big Trump supporter, I'm the last of the red-hot liberals.
One thing I do know; he loved his family. You could see it in the videos on Facebook with Damon, Trisha and Blaze. When he and Trisha came to NJ a while back he made sure they came to visit us and go out to dinner. He visited his Mom and Dad in Florida whenever possible. And he loved his sister Erin.
We will all miss him.
