DAN LEVINE Obituary
Of Peters Township, formerly of Waynesburg, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019, one day before his 65th birthday. Dan was the beloved son of the late Morris and Elizabeth Levine. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Danielle and Kathryn Levine; his siblings, Ed (Debbie) Levine, Dr. Gerald (Suzette) Levine, Larry (the late Charlotte) Levine, Judith Levine (Thomas) Clark, and Jan (Sharyn) Levine; and many nieces and nephews. Dan also leaves behind his love, Melissa Sniegocki Majkic. He was a graduate of Waynesburg High School and received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Dan and his brothers took over their father's business in Waynesburg, Levine's Iron and Metal, until he started his own business, GreeneTech Manufacturing. Dan had an immense passion for any and all racquet sports. He played racquet ball every Sunday, was a pickle ball champion, tennis player and also enjoyed wrestling, especially where he wrestled at his Alma Mater, the University of Pittsburgh. Dan's love of sports led him to coach his daughter's softball team. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic at GreeneTech, generosity to friends, joy of life and love of family, especially his daughters, Dani and Katie. Dan impacted the lives of many people, and will be truly missed by all. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and Family are welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211 on Wednesday 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., where a celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, 10 a.m. Interment private. Dan you will be missed. When you hired me 35 years ago who knew we would become good friends , all the laughs, and just the smile with the turn of his head you knew he was in a good mood... knowing your day isn't going to be bad. All memory's of him will be forever cherished thanks again dan for hiring me....

Katie,
Many of my memories growing up involve your dad. He was not only one of my friend's father, but also a softball coach that was willing to deal with a more than unenthusiastic player (me). He was someone you could also count on to have a smile on his face. All of his qualities will live on through you and Dani. It was a true honor to know him. My deepest sympathies for the entire family. I have full confidence that he was greeted above with an amazing crew!

On behalf of the entire Maggs family, I want to express our significant sadness at the news of Dan's passing. He was always so full of life and passed on way too soon. We are thinking of and praying for the entire family. In particular, Dani and Katie are in our thoughts. The girls and our oldest daughter, Katarina, grew up together and remain good friends to this day. Dani and Katie have always been amazing girls and they have grown in to such intelligent, compassionate, wonderful, caring and successful young women. I know that Dan would be very proud of them. I always remember Dan as the coach of the girls' softball team. He liked to win but it was always more important to him that the girls were having fun. Katarina loved playing for him because he was always so supportive while at the same time teaching her the game and pushing her to play hard. I know everyone is in pain today but we pray that you all will always remember the many wonderful times you had together. We know that Dan is resting comfortably in heaven.
