Dana Sebastian Obituary

Published by The Daily News (Longview, WA) on Jan. 1, 2010.
Dana Sharon (May) Sebastian, 50, died at her Wenatchee home Dec. 13 from complications of pneumonia.

She was born Nov. 27, 1959, in Longview to Bud and Betty May of Castle Rock and graduated from high school there. She married Paul Sebastian of Toutle, where the couple lived before moving to Alaska. They returned to Castle Rock and later moved to Wenatchee with their young daughters, Erica and Nicole.

She graduated from Wenatchee Valley College, then worked as a Radiology Department receptionist until her health no longer permitted it.

In addition to her daughters, Erica (Craig Campbell) and Nicole (Tony Daggett), she is survived by her husband, Paul Sebastian; her father, Bud May and his wife, Loralee May of Longview; two brothers, Mark May (Patty) of Longview and Brian May of Santa Clara, Calif.; her mother-in-law, Barbara Burley of Castle Rock; and seven grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 9 at Mountain View Assembly of God at 19 N.E. McElmurry Lane in East Wenatchee. A second memorial will be held at the May family potluck at Ryderwood Park May 30.

Paul, Erica, Nicole, Bud and family. I am so sorry to hear of Dana's passing. She was a wonderful sister in law and will be greatly missed. We lost touch with each other when the family moved to Wenatchee and I regret that I allowed that to happen. Paul, please do me a favor and contact me, I would love to hear from you....

Bud & family, I was so sorry to hear about Dana. I hadn't seen her since she was a little girl. My condolences are with all of you. She will now be pain free & very happy with all who passed on before her. Again my sympathy for your family.

Paul, Erica, Nicole, Steve, Lorraine & Family - We were sadden to hear about Dana. Years ago she took care of my children when living in Castle Rock and they both have fond memories of her. She was always kind and gentle. Our Prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time and may Dana find peace in her resting place.

Dear Bud,
Although I only talked to Dana on the phone a time or two, I was aware that she was living in Wenatchee. My sympathy for the loss of your daughter. You know how much my Mother, Bette, and Brother, Bob, have appreciated you (as have I) over the years.
