Dana Stohlberg Obituary

Published by Worcester Telegram & Gazette from Feb. 16 to Feb. 21, 2021.
Dana Stohlberg, 67

Worcester - Saturday, February 13 marks the passing of Dana Stohlberg. He wouldn't want anyone to mourn him but rather just remember him and celebrate life to the fullest. Even in his final battle with cancer, when diagnosed said "it is what it is," simething he often said when facing the worst of the worst situations. He had quick wit and sarcastic personality but anyone who knew Dana knew that and it grew on them. His life certainly was not easy or handed to him by any means but he always overcame the obstacles he crossed. He did not have a whole lot but what he did have brought him happiness. Prior to the closing of the Charlton Flea Market you could find him there on the weekends working and socializing with the regulars. In the summers he would be riding in Rose, his most prized possession, his Studebaker. He would be at car shows or just driving around to show her off. He loved collecting "junk" as he called it but if he bought it you knew it was more than that to him. He was one to find quirky or unwanted items and keep them for the history they provided. Other places he found joy was at his apartment with his cat White Boy, with his family nearby, and Moore State Park. If you knew Dana please don't be downhearted but rather take a moment today to remember him in a positive way and keep him and the family in your thoughts.

D.W and family,
I'm so very sorry for your loss! I've known you 20 plus years and every time you came to clinic you had a smile on! 2 weeks ago you told me it would probably be the last time you saw me.Sadly, you were right but I find comfort in knowing you are pain free!
Rest easy my friend, I will miss you !
