Yvonne, Shannon, and Sean ~I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I hadn't seen Dan in almost 15 years, he remains one of my favorite people on this planet. He was my professor, then my co-worker, but always my friend. There are not any words sweet enough to take away the grief you are feeling right now, but know that his profound impact on those of us lucky enough to be in his orbit will never be forgotten. ~Judi Carpenter

I considered Dan a friend. He was a giving and caring person, and a brilliant thinker. As a colleague and boss, he exemplified Christ's attitude and joy in serving God by his care for his staff and friends and family. He is missed.
