Daniel Baranowski
December 4, 1943 - October 16, 2017

Dan passed away after a very short battle with cancer.

He was born in Emo, Ontario. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1961-1964. In 1965 he moved to Atikokan, Ontario, where he met his wife Iris (Olchowecki). In 1981 the family moved to Logan Lake BC where Dan was employed by Highland Valley Copper until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his infant son Danny, his parents Michael and Pauline, his sisters Mary, Olga, Nettie, Stella, Annie, Polly, Irene, and brothers Mike and John.

He is survived by his wife, Iris, children Douglas (Calgary), Michelle (Calgary), and Patrick along with his grandson Benji (Cranbrook). His also survived by his sister Julie (Thunder Bay) and his brother Bill (Emo), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A very special thank you to Jack and Ev Olchowecki and our daughter Michelle for being there for the both of us throughout his struggle.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral, by request.

Arrangements under the direction of Merritt Funeral Chapel, Merritt, BC.
