Daniel Barber Obituary
Danny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and worked for AT&T as Communication Technician. Danny is survived by his wife of 22 years Sheila Barber; children: Charles Barber and his wife Melissa, Scott Barber and his wife Stephanie and their mother Judy Barber, and James Kay and his wife Judith; grandchildren: Kerra Barber, Anisten Sellers, Evan Sellers, Alaina Barber, Luke Barber, Mackinley Kay, Mackayla Kay and J.T. Kay; mother Jessie Ann Barber; sisters: Sharon Richter and her husband Bennie, Dolores Gonzalez and her husband Joe; brother David Barber and his wife Dee Dee and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He is preceded by his father James Davis Barber and brother James "Hudie" Barber.
The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a rite of committal in Brookside Memorial Park and Cemetery.
