Boyd Family
I was truly saddened to hear of Danny's passing. I was in New York for the weekend when my husband called to tell me. My husband, John is a Boilermaker like Danny and so I had the opportunity to see him on occasion at some functions. I also have known Danny growing up in Fineview and hanging out at the ramp and the late night hockey games in Bridgeville. Those are some great memories and make me smile everytime I think of them. May God bless all of you and ease your pain at this difficult time.

My deepest condolesence for the loss of Danny. Daniel Patrick Boyd is what I always called him. I met Danny at a pens hocky game sometime in the seventies. We had alot of very good times together that I will forever remember. I always thought he was so good looking and he always made me laugh. He will always hold a special place in my heart. May God comfort you all and give you the peace and strength you need.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to Danny's family. Danny was a good friend and will be missed dearly. He made my grand daughters and everyone else laugh with his Donald Duck impression. A man with a great sense of humor and a big heart.

"Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us everyday,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear."

My sympathy for the loss of Danny. I spent time with Danny at the Penguin hockey games in the 70's and also, while I was living in Los Angeles and Danny made the trip to LA to see the Pens play, I made sure to meet him and the gang at the hotel. We would laugh and laugh. He will truely be missed.

Tom, Eileen, Sue & Tommy,
We are so sorry to hear about Danny. During the Fineview era, our families shared many great times and laughs. I recall shooting pool with Danny like it was yesterday and borrowing his BIG white car to pick up the kids at school because mine was broke down. His great smile and warming personality will fondly be remembered. Our prayers are with all of you.

Tom, Eileen & Susan,
Dannny was like my adopted son. He was always with our family. Jim & I really enjoyed spending time with him and having him over on the holidays. Jim & I thought very highly of Danny. He was a great person to be around and we always enjoyed laughing and teasing with him. I will always consider him a part of my family and will miss and love him.

Dear Tom, Eileen and Sue,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I have great memories growing up in Fineview playing street hockey, skating at North Park, late night ice hockey at Bridgeville on Fridays and eating at Toulas with Danny boy. He was always a prankster and he had a nickname for everybody. Danny had a way of making those around him laugh, he was always larger than life. Danny will be missed by all who knew him!
