Daniel BRAIN Obituary
Born April 1937 in Powell River, BC passed away on September 23, 2012 in Port Moody, BC. Dan will be greatly missed by his wife Jackie, sons Dave (Angela) and Steve (Laura), grandchildren Colby and Kai, sister Joy (Thor) and numerous family and friends in Belcarra and elsewhere whom he touched so deeply with his friendship and tireless work to help make the lives of others a little better. Services will be held on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at First Memorial Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC (604-944-4128). In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dan was and is a constant source of inspiration to us. As neighbors watching how he built your home, to forming a village, to ensuring we all had a good water supply in Belcarra Bay to building floats and docks and ensuring water skiing was always allowed in the bay, to leading a role model family.
Nothing was impossible for him. That's an incredible legacy to give all of us who knew him. He will live on through all of you.
