Daniel Chilson Obituary
Born on January 18, 1982 in Aurora, Colorado to Kenneth A. and Hannah I.F. Staack Chilson.
Daniel was a loving son, brother, uncle and dearest friend who had a gentle spirit and a loving heart. Daniel loved Ice Hockey and was a former goalie for the Washingtonville Hockey Club, he was also a graduate of Orange County Community College.
He is survived by his mother Hannah I.F. Chilson of Rock Tavern, NY; his father Kenneth A. and his wife Carmela Chilson of Liberty, NY; his sister Sarah A.P. Chilson and her companion William Ramm of Rock Tavern, NY Nieces Shelby and Stella Ramm and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday December 13, 2011 from 5-8PM with a service to follow at 8PM at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home in Washingtonville, NY. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations in Daniel's name may be made to a charity of one's choice Arrangements under the care of Thomas A. Murray of the David T. My sweet little Dannel. Who never was so little but always so sweet. I remember we used to joke that we'd need a separate turkey at the holidays for you and your dad.
Uncle Ken, Aunt Hannah, Sarah- the times I spent up at your place as a kid playing with Dan and Sarah were the best. Stella and Shelby, I know we will all make sure you have awesome memories of your uncle.

Words cannot begin to express the shock and sadness that I feel. There was a time when I would see "Bub" everyday with his great big smile and his big hugs. To imagine him not being there is just unreal.
Sarah, I am heartbroken for you and your Mom. I know how close you and Bub were and my heart breaks for you. Please know that I am far, but never out of reach, so if you ever need anything, say the word and I am there. Please give my love to your Mom. I love you!!!

With a broken heart I say good bye Daniel. Your beautiful smile always brightened a room. I am so lucky to have so many wonderful memories of us growing up together.
