DANIEL CONWAY Obituary
Of Lawrenceville, formerly of Green Tree, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving partner of Connie Lee Walsh; loving son of Jean (Mulraney) and the late Daniel Grant, Sr.; father of Bridgette Ann (DJ) and Daniel L. (Heather); and grandfather of Melinda, Cody, and Natalie. Dan is also survived by brothers, Gregory (Shirley) of Charlotte, NC, Timothy (Kim), Robert (Linda), and Patrick (Kathleen); also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many special friends. Friends received at the JOHN F. MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, INC., Butler at 52nd St., Lawrenceville. Masonic Funeral Service Lodge 45 will be held Sunday 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Simon & Jude Church, Green Tree, Monday at noon. Visitation Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Dan's memory page appeared and I was reminded of how fast time passes 6 yrs already.
I thought back on our days as XC runners at Canevin! Good times and we were in great shape. CHS was a very good ride for me.

Dan was a great Masonic brother, a builder, computer wizard, and only God knows what else, and best of all you were a good friend. You pain is gone, you love lives on, your giving heart is what made you last so long.

So sorry to hear of Danny's passing. We moved in across the street from each other the same day when we were four. A lifelong friend, a really good man who always had a warm smile. May he now rest in peace.

Dan was a wonderful friend. He was one of the first men I met at Bishop Canevin. Ice skating at South Park Rink on friday nights is how I will remember him.Always lots of fun and laughter. I will really miss him.

Dan was a man who loved his family and grandchildren. In life he always maintained his integrity and morals to God, family, and his country. He will be missed by many.

I was saddened to hear of Dan's passing. Dan was a great person with a golden heart. It was wonderful to see him at the Canevin picnic and the 40yr reunion. I know that he is walking the halls of Heaven and watching over his loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are your family.

Dan, you fought this battle for a very long time. But in the end, this disease almost always wins the battle. You were a very kind person while on this earth, and because of that kindness that you extended to everyone, you are in a very peaceful place now. My heart goes out to all of your family at this time. May they find happiness again in the memories of all that you did for and with them. You will always be remembered by everyone whose lives you touched. God Bless You, Dan.
