Age 82, a devoted family man and longtime resident of Neville Island, passed away at his current home in Venetia, PA on Sunday, March 12, 2017. He was born in Coraopolis on February 23, 1935, to the late Vincenzo and Pauline (LaMarca) Deramo. Beloved husband for 58 years to Marianne (Rife) Deramo; loving father of Timothy (Becky) Deramo of Beaver Falls and Nancy Krajovic of McMurray; cherished grandfather of Katie, Daniel and McKenna; brother of the late Anthony, Victor and Rose Marie Deramo. He leaves behind loving nieces and nephews. Daniel was owner/ operator of the Neville Roller Drome, Danny's Restaurant and the Tastee Freeze. He was a 1953 graduate of Coraopolis High School and later earned a degree from Robert Morris Business College and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church. He was a member of the Lions Club where he served as President and was also a booster for the Boy Scouts of America. He was an avid hunter, gun enthusiast, and photographer; enjoyed sailing, biking and fishing. He had a wry sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS, 867 Fifth Ave., where prayers will be recited on Thursday at 9 a.m., followed by Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations if desired to Gallagher Home Health Service Palliative and Hospice Care, 1370 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
