Daniel Keady Dodge

Daniel Dodge passed unexpectedly on September 12, 2023, at the age of thirty-five.

He was born on November 23, 1987, in Portland, ME, and grew up in Littleton, CO, graduating from Options High School in 2006.

Dan was a fiercely loyal son and brother to six siblings. Anyone who knew him can attest that he was a wonderful, kind, caring, and intentional person. His life was marked by his love for his family.

He had a closet full of dapper vintage suits and amassed a stockpile of old-school skateboards. He welded metal scraps into fine art. His works are unique and beautiful. Dan was brilliant when it came to his custom welding skills on classic cars. His most recent project was the full restoration of a 1951 Chevy Deluxe.

Beyond these achievements, Dan will be remembered for his heart of gold, his quick wit, and his wry sense of humor.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Reed Dodge (Craig) of Evergreen, CO, and his father, Dana Marden Dodge of Lyons, CO. He leaves behind his four sisters: Meagan Schmitt (David) of Boxford, MA, Shannon Garfein (Joshua) of Lyons, CO, Lauran Gale (Ian) of Steamboat Springs, CO, Emilie Brady (James) of Denver, CO, and his two brothers: Patrick Dodge of Evergreen, CO, and William Dodge (Autumn) of Longmont, CO, and his many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life for Dan at the Evans Chapel on the University of Denver campus, 2199 South Race Street, Denver, Colorado, on October 7th, 2023, from 2:00-4:30.
