Dan-
I still can't believe that you aren't here.I am writin as if I would as always so bear with me...I can't tell you what an inspiration you are to me...I consider you my mentor...I will miss lunch and your talks, and stories...Dan wake up!!!-DoDaDoDa!!!-I haven't really cried yet because I'm in the angry stage of bereavement...Nothing will ever be the same and even though I consider myself a writer I can't think of words to express how amazing and muse like you are. I will never forget you and for the first time in my life I can honestly say I love another human being for what and who they are because I know you never judged me and always listened. I know you will never stop and I will never stop listenin in return. Love to your family and your heart-mollie and evelyn...See you one day

I don't know Dan but I do work at NCO with him, just indirectly. I just wanted to express how sad I feel for his family, especially his young child. We know that he is in a better place now, and I will keep his wife and child and all his other family in my prayers.

I am so deeply saddened by the news of Dan's sudden death. We were friends at City Honors School and graduated together in 1980. Danny always made every class we had together more fun with his quick wit, exuberant personality and genuine warmth. Some of the funniest memories of high school involve him in some way...the hallway "pile-ups" he initiated, the time when we were practicing for graduation and the Principle called his name "Daniel Xavier Gaughan" and the whole class in unison yelled "XAVIER????"...
I wish his wife, little girl and his family gentle peace, much love, and my deepest prayers for comfort and strength during this very difficult time. Dan will be greatly missed by so many of us.
Love,
Lynne

My deepest sympathies. Danny was a wonderful person. We were good friends in high school. When I think of Danny, the first thing that comes to my mind is laughter. Danny was always making us laugh with his dry sense of humor. That's the memory I will keep of Danny--laughing and having fun.
