Daniel Earl "Dan-O" Hobbs
54, of Evansville, went to be with his Heavenly Father Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital with his family by his side. He was born March 31, 1959 to Earl and Alma Jean (Kuhlman) Hobbs.
Danny was a 1977 graduate of Central High School and a carpenter with Local 90. He was a member of the Evansville Athletic Club, Men's Fellowship and St. Anthony Catholic Church. Danny was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Danny was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was known for his wonderful sense of humor and positive outlook on life.
He is survived by his wife, Regina (Clark) Hobbs, daughter Lauren Byrd (Brent), son Houston Hobbs, stepdaughter, Alexa Hale, mother, Alma Jean Hobbs and grandchild, Brinkley Byrd all of Evansville, sister, Cathy Gerard (Steve) of Evansville, sister, Karen Watkins (Scott) of Newburgh, brothers, Randy Hobbs of Indianapolis, Mike, Gary, and Brian Hobbs (Michele) all of Evansville, father-in-law, Robert Clark of Mt. Vernon, IN, many nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, Daizy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl J. Hobbs, in 2006.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave. with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will begin at 9:45 am Thursday at the funeral home and will continue with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 704 N First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710 with Fr. Jay Davidson officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 704 N First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710.

Mike and family (Michelle), I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. You are not suppose to loose you brothers at such a young age. I lost one of my brothers back in 2006.
