CANTON - Daniel L. Huxtable, 32, of 15 W. Hickory St. died at 11:03 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Graham Hospital emergency room in Canton.
He was born on April 25, 1974, in Peoria to Leo and Sherry Goldring Huxtable.
He married Sharon Sandford in Lewistown on June 10, 1999. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Sherry Goldring-(Tracey) of Canton; one son, Alexander, and one daughter, Delayne, both at home; two brothers, David (Sarah) Huxtable of Galesburg and Damian Hood of Garrett, Ind.; two sisters, Diana Hood (Billy Green) of Knoxville and Jackie LaFollette of Elmwood; two nieces, Addie Green and Ronnie Davis; one nephew, Drake Davis; mother-in-law, Becky Purtle; father-in-law, Mark Sandford; three brothers-in-law, Chris Davis (Gracy Seward), Chuck Davis and Luke Sandford; and three sisters-in-law, Michele Davis, Kaitlin Sandford and Billie Purtle.
His father preceded him in death.
He had worked for Affina in Peoria as a supervisor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be one hour prior.
Rev. Greg Ogle will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials may be made to an education fund for his children c/o The National Bank.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Dan was a great leader and knew how to get along with people the right way. I never had to worry about a thing when it came to my cousin being sick and that I needed the time off. He took care of everything for me. I worked at apac with him. He always made us feel like a team and not just someone that was sitting on the phone. I will be praying for you and your family in your time of need. I lost my two year old cousin in Dec. 2005 and there was one thing that I learned is that they might be gone in person but they are here in spirit.

Dan was a great supervisor at APAC in Canton,Ill. He will be truely missed. He always kept us on our toes and always made us smile.
