Daniel Kaizer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 13, 2018.
Daniel John Kaizer, age 61, passed away peacefully Monday, February 12, 2018 at home. He was born October 27, 1956 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Patricia Kazier. Daniel was adopted and raised by his grandparents, John and Twila Kaizer. Enlisting early, Danial proudly served in the Coast Guard from 1972-1978. On June 30, 2001 he married Barbara Gaines in Lacombe, Louisiana.

Daniel was a man who could fix anything – cars, appliances, heating and cooling systems. He was a true outdoorsman. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. He loved long hauls on his motorcycle with Barbara. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. He loved his family and his grandchildren, Maddox and Zoe were his heart, skyping with them as often as he could.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Barbara; son Ryen Lee (Madeline)Kaizer; stepsons Joseph Crowe and David Crowe; grandchildren Maddox Kaizer and Zoe Kaizer; siblings Eric Krista, Kory (Stephanie) Krista, Patricia Krista and Kara Allen, and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Twila Kaizer, and his mom, Patricia Kaizer.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Sunday, February 25, 2018. Daniel will be laid to rest in Madeville Cemetery in Louisiana.

I can't even think of words to express all I have seen you go through. I never saw Dan without him smiling and of good cheer. Our thoughts and prayers will continue for you, Barb.

Dan was the father of my nephew Ryen Lee Kaizer. He was a wonderful father. My heart goes out to his son. He was also a very good friend. I have always considered him my brother in law no matter what. When my husband passed away he was there for me. He came to my rescue many times. He put in my central air system with no charge. He put many things together for my son. He stood in my wedding. My heart aches we have lost another person way too young. Dan you are going to be greatly missed. RIP
