Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home

Danny Kuh, 68 years of age of Kennewick passed away at home on Tuesday, November 29th following several years of heart related health problems. Danny was born in Pasco on August 15, 1943, to Dan and Jane Kuh of Finley where he was raised. February 9th, 1968, Danny married his wife of 43 years, Sharon Schubert. They have one son, Eric who lives in Kennewick. Danny spent his younger years making lifelong friends working on a ranch outside Dayton, WA, rodeoing and living life HIS way.

In 1967, he was 8th in bull dogging with the National Rodeo Assoc. Danny was a talented heavy equipment operator and for a few years, owned and operated his own backhoe business in the Tri-Cities.

He was a well-respected operator for over 30 years with Lampson International working on jobs throughout the US and abroad. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #370 for 42 years and there was never a piece of equipment that he couldn't run.

Danny enjoyed 7 years of retirement, spending most of his time at the cabin in the Blue Mountains hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, picking huckleberries, morels and watching the deer, elk and turkeys. Most places Danny went were with his loyal companion "Jacker Dog" who is surely again faithfully by his side.
Fishing trips to Alaska were dear to his heart. He loved his family and was always there to lend a hand. Dan is loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include his wife Sharon, son Eric, Grandson Reece Young, Sister Kathy Schuman all of Kennewick, Niece Fawn Williams (Andrew Cook) of Pasco and Nephew Dan (Pei Ling) Kuh of Kennewick, Sister-in-law Carol Ward and family of Kennewick, Uncles Ray Kuh Sr, and Kenneth (Opal) Kuh and Aunts Alice Lambert and Dottie Logan. He is also survived by numerous cousins, great nephews and nieces.

Services will be held on Saturday December 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union St. in Kennewick followed by celebration of life at Lampson International 607 E. Columbia Dr. in Kennewick.

I worked with Danny on a few jobs and always enjoyed it. He was individual that said what was on his mind. Byron Lampson
