To Our sweethearts, Laurie & Danny, the Schwartz family is devastated (as you are), to hear the news of our incredible Daniel. We do not know what Camp would have done without him in second grade, at Cristo Rey Catholic School. We had just moved to a new state, a new city, a new home, & Camp was so small & a bit scared to start a new school. Daniel stepped in & became his best friend ever, at Cristo Rey.!!!!Daniel was an awesome friend & we will Never Ever forget him. What an honor for the entire Schwartz family, to be able to say we knew Daniel Chamberlain Lehman.

So very sad to hear about your remarkable son's passing. I did not know him personally but my step son Chris Miller did. I also remember your family from the many years of being our customer at the Country Store. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our very deepest sympathy for your loss.

Mr. and Mrs. Lehman,
I knew Daniel's younger self and spirit, and what a spirit he had! My little brother, Camp would always get so excited when he got to hang out with Daniel. I shared his enthusiasm - the three of us had some great times indeed. But the best thing I remember - and I'll always remember - about your son was his one-of-a-kind friendliness to my little brother, who was a fish out of water in Santa Fe until Daniel took him in. We moved from Texas into unfamiliar territory, and Camp was nervous until DANIEL.
I didn't know him as a grown man, but reading about him today has informed me that he grew into a hell of a guy, and I'm not the least bit surprised about that.
I am immensely sorry for your loss. Hold on tight to the good times. Never forget your boy. Never forget how important he was to the kid who moved from Texas and needed a friend, and never forget how important he was and is to you both.

I did not know your son, but after reading the story in today's paper, I am in awe over his amazing accomplishments in his short 28 years.
Many people would not be able to do what he has done in their lifetime.
This is a testament to a job well done by his parents as well.
Thank You for your service Daniel!!!
May you fly with the angels and protect your family.
Condolences to his loved ones.

Daniel and I grew up as best friends in second grade. I only knew him for one year, but he sure made me feel welcome, as I had just moved to Santa Fe from Texas. I remember staying up late playing crash bandicoot with Daniel... we would take turns trying to beat the game, joking and laughing all the while. Daniel was a unique, intelligent, loyal friend of mine. I will never forget our friendship.

I did not know your loving son..I wanted to give you my condolences. Life is hard to understand sometimes; why things happen the way they do. I will keep you in my prayers. I appreciate his service to our Country and appreciate his talent, passion and unselfish spirit. May his life be an example to all of us. May He be at peace in God's Heavenly realm. May Christ hold you and comfort you in His loving arms.
