Daniel Livy Obituary
Daniel (68) passed away on Friday, June 23rd at his home in NC. Dan was born on February 17, 1949 to Douglas and Nora Livy in Birmingham, Michigan. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife, Dori Livy. Mr. Livy leaves behind to cherish his memory; sons, Nick (Danielle) Livy of Apex, North Carolina and Mitch (Eri) Livy of Dana Point, California; grandson, Brooks Livy; and brothers, John and Doug "Deke". Dan was happiest on the water in one of his many boats, with his co-captain, Dori. He had an intense passion for music showcased through an extensive collection of records, CDs, and tapes. His support for Michigan State sports never wavered, no matter what the season brought. His dedication to his family and love for his friends will always be remembered and carry on for generations. A service will be held at Saint James church in Birmingham, Michigan at a date to be determined.

It's been a long long time. Haven't seen you in 30 some years, since I worked for Arbor Corporation. In any event, Dan, I wish you all of God's blessings. May you rest in his peace. Prayers for you and your family. Amen.

Although it has been many years since I have seen Danny, I still have vivid and happy memories of his wonderful and joyful sense of humor. He made the world brighter with his wit and smile. My wish is that his family be blessed with the memory of him in this way.

I lived next door when I was in grammar school. He was a nice guy and we all thought he and his big brother were really "cool". He baby sat for us a couple of times when out parents were gone and we had a great time.
