Daniel M. McCormick

Daniel M. McCormick, 58, of Rte. 114, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at his home after a period of failing health. He was born in Dorchester, MA on Oct. 29, 1956 the son of Jerome and Margaret (Muldoon) McCormick. Dan earned his Associates Degree from NH Technical Institute in Claremont, N.H. and lived in Bradford for the past 25 years. He had been a respiratory therapist working for Concord Hospital and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Bradford. A huge sports fan, Dan couldnt get enough of the Boston teams enjoying football, baseball, basketball and hockey. He really liked traveling and trips to the beach. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lauren M. McCormick in 2007 and his parents and a brother, Paul in 2010. Members of his family surviving include his wife of 32 years, Yvonne (Mackey) McCormick of Bradford, N.H.; a son, James Jay McCormick of Hampton, N.H.; a granddaughter, London Marie McCormick; his sister, Maura and her husband, Richard and their son, Nicholas Allison of Quincy; two brothers, Sean and his wife, Lisamarie McCormick of Captain Cook, Hawaii and Brian McCormick of Weymouth, and his faithful dog, Otis. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of Bradford, N.H. with The Rev. Lynne Hubley, pastor, officiating.
