Master Sgt. Daniel Millican

A retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant and Spectra East employee, he passed away Sunday morning, June 17, 2012, at his home in Baton Rouge. He was 77. Viewing at New Pilgrim Baptist Church, Zachary, on Monday, June 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by a religious service on Tuesday, June 26, at 10 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Wesley Brown, pastor. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Corrine Millican; daughter, Pamela Millican; sons, Delandro (Carl) and Delano (Calvin); sisters, Barbara Montgomery, of Oakland, Calif., and Viola Bonvillain, of Houma; brothers, the Rev. Isadore Millican, of Arcadia, the Rev. Felton Millican (Izola), of Oakland, Frank Millican, of Sacramento, Calif., Freddie Millican (Charlie Mae), of Baton Rouge, and James Millican (Geraldine), of Zachary; in-laws, Leroy and Ruby Carter, Milton and Brenda Carter, and Emma Lou Whitley, all of Zachary, and Hazel Rainey (Huey), of Dallas; grandchildren, Christopher Daniel Millican and Cierra Augillard; great-grandchild, Jordyn Skye Millican; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Oena Wesley Millican; brother, George Leonard Millican Jr.; sisters, Ella Mae Daniels, Iceola Matthews and Theresa Berryhill; sisterin- law, Faye Millican; and brother-in-law, Harry Whitley.
