We sat in front of Dan at the Clemson home football games. We so enjoyed talking with him and Wyatt, and we soon became friends. It just hasn´t been the same without Dan and Wyatt. What a loss to all of us!

I am still in shock from receiving the news - very sad news indeed. Fond memories of us growing up together in Silver Lake years ago years ago, living w/ him and his family for a short stint in late 80s, and playing golf together in our 20s & 30s. I loved his quick wit, jokes and terrific sense of humor- he always had me laughing. The Monroe and Bohling families have been intertwined in close friendship for more than 40 years now. RIP, Dan! God Speed, brother! Wania & I send our heart felt condolences to his family and friends.

I know Dan from Augusta Christian basketball. Dan always had a smile on his face and never neglected to tell the boys how proud he was of them! He was also the “support coach”! When the boys were frustrated, confused, or upset Dan was the Man to talk them through it. He would walk with them, listen, and support them while they calmed back down. You will be missed Dan! We love you and we will do our best to take care of your family.
