I had the good fortune and privilege of knowing Danny at American University and kept in touch in the ensuing 40 years through a mutual friend. He was a wonderful person, full of unbounded energy, humor and optimism, who loved and was loved by his legion of friends. The world is a lesser place without him. Deepest sympathy to his family.

Danny loved the Lord with all his heart and his life. He had an amazing impact on so many for good, helping people see their way through life. He had a dry sense of humor that always kept me in stitches. He will be forever loved and remembered fondly.

Dear Allyson and family, We were so saddened to hear of Dan's passing, but rejoice that he will have an eternal heavenly home...It was wonderful to reconnect with Dan during my time at Hawthorne as he faithfully advocated for his Dad..I know that Irving loved Dan and all of you dearly, and was so proud of your family....praying for peace, rest, and the comfort for your heart that only God can provide....

My memory, my perspective of Dan is that he was an awesome Man who thoughtfully touched so many lives as a wrestling coach and teacher. He was quick to help and stand by his friends or those in need. He swept off her feet one of my best friends. And oh boy- the man could talk! That's probably what I'll miss the most- listening to him express his perspective and taking a stand for what he believed in. He was undoubtably a believer in Jesus and I know that he is with Him today. Dan I will truly miss you and the world is indeed a better place for the positive impact you made on so many , especially our young wrestlers. Thank you for all that you gave. We'll see you again in heaven one day! With much love- prayers for peace & understanding for your sweet family.
