Daniel Muske Obituary
St. Joseph - Daniel J. Muske, age 69, passed away on Sunday, March 21st at Good Samaritan - Bethany in Brainerd. Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, March 27th from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the St. Joseph Millstream Park Pavilion (725 County Road 75 W). Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Little Falls.
Daniel was born on February 5th, 1952 to Rueben and Bernice (Overman) Muske. He married Linda Rassier on September 2nd, 1972. Daniel served in the Army during the Vietnam War and worked for the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud until retirement. Daniel's hobbies included reading, playing cribbage, sunbathing, yelling at the TV during the Twins and Vikings games, watching westerns (insisting he had never seen them before), having breakfast each morning at Kay's Kitchen in St. Joseph, driving his 1972 Monte Carlo and listening to 92.5 KQRS.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, Jennifer Muske (Jason Stocker), Laura Flaten (Ryan) and Rachel Muske (Logan Nuesse); grandchildren, Warren and Nolan Flaten; siblings, Carol Theisen (Jim), Sue Gaebel (Randy Weishalla), Donald Muske (Paula), Chuck Muske (Diane), Steve Muske (Tracy), Bill Muske (Elizabeth), Tim Muske (Shelly) and Tom Muske.
Daniel was preceded in death by parents, Rueben and Bernice; mother-in-law, Donna Rassier; sister-in-law, Maxine Hodge Muske; brothers-in-law, John Rassier and Steven Rassier.
A special thank you to the staff at Good Samaritan (particularly the Hospice group) for their compassionate care of Daniel.
Memorials are preferred to the American Legion in St. Joseph.
