Daniel Statetzny Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 6, 2024.
Daniel Brian Statetzny, passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 43. He was born and raised in Michigan; He was a big Detroit sports fan. Danny had a contagious laugh, a charming smile, and a great sense of humor. He wanted nothing more than to be a good Dad to his kids. Unfortunately, that did not work out that way for him and it crushed him. He loved his children very much.

Danny is survived by his loving family: his mother, Shirley Statetzny; his siblings, William (Janel) Statetzny, Michele (Doug) Walters, Andrea (Brian) Lynn, James (Nicole) Statetzny, and his twin Matt Statetzny, a bond like no other; his children Tyler and Ethan Statetzny; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Fredric Statetzny.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. Danny's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May we all begin to heal knowing Danny is at peace.

Danny will always be such a amazing friend to me, he always had the biggest heart, he always gave more then what he had, he'd even give the shirt off his back if he had to just to help a friend. He was especially there for me after lost my fiance Rob he was Robs friend as well, we all grew up together, the grief i had when I lost my fiance was so great ge always called me from Florida to get my mind off it, he would take me on bike rides with him via messenger video chat it was breathtaking, it felt like I was right there with him. He loved his music and life and tell me about all his journeys since he had moved to Florida, he called me toots and was a amazing blessing to my life i didnt mind that he gave me that Nickname it was cute, he always cared about everyone bit himself, he loved his kids and family very much and everytime I spoke to him he would tell me how much he loved his family and children and niece's and nephews. I will never forget the fun we had growing up and going to cedar point and all the adventures we went on, it was so much fun. I will truly miss our talks and how he was there for me in and out. I know he's up there with Rob riding bikes doing there tricks on them jumping ramps. Save me a seat up there my beautiful friend Luv ya my friend and you will always be remembered and never forgotten, thank you for always being there for me you don't know how much that ment to me and always will, big bear hugs from Michigan up to heaven see you on the other side my Beautiful friend always and forever my friend

Grief can be so hard. Memories help us cope. I
will never forget our conversations. Some silly, some serious, some even instructional...no matter the subject it helped us build a true friendship.
