We are so sorry for your lost. I can't begin to imagine your pain. A mother's love is endless for a child, even after they have left us, because we have a connection with our child that no one else can have. We give them life and hope to be able to protect them as we did in the womb. The love you have for him will continue mama, but in your heart. He will always be there to love. I pray that God gives you strength to overcome the lost of your baby boy. Although, I am sure no mother ever truly does, but enough to continue to be the great mother you are to your other babies.

To the family of Daniel Torres. We knew Daniel since he was on first grade at Boulevard Heights Middle. My son Christopher Gonzalez and Daniel knew each other since 7 years old. They used to spend so much time together, until last year when Chris moved to a different school. Chris couldn't believed what happened. He cried so much and so did my daughter Kayleen who enjoyed playing with Daniel. I know that I enjoyed taking the kids to the movies, and having Daniel over many weekends. Him and Chris helped me paint my house just back in September last year when I moved! He was always helping us!. We feel so sad and empty. I know that we lost touch for a couple of months, when my son last spent the night over to your house back in October 2009. My prayers are with you. I have a video for when Daniel attended my son's b-day party two years ago. As we were watching the video we were also remembering how funny and silly he was. He was a great kid, and he is now next to God in heaven. I know God has a reason to have taking Daniel. We will miss him terribly. My dearly condolences to you and family. I live a couple of blocks away and I have a 15 year old son that went to that middle school. I do not know him, nor does my son, but I could hardly control my sobbing. I cant ever imagine the pain that family is going through. I wish that there was something I could do. My heart is broken for Daniel and his family. May God please give that family some kind of strength to deal with this.

I am a neighbor, I didnt know the boys personally but I saw them daily. every morning I would wake to the sound of them playing basketball together.
