Daniel Clifford Turner

Daniel Clifford Turner, aged 60, passed away on July 16, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri. Born on December 3, 1963, in Merced, California, Daniel was known for his kind and lovable soul, always ready to lend a helping hand.

Daniel spent two decades maintaining the property and equipment at Carondelet Nursing Home from 1995 to 2015, a testament to his compassionate nature and where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact. Before that, he was a valued team member at Sinclair in North Kansas City.

A passionate fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Daniel enjoyed a wide array of hobbies. He was an avid movie-goer, with a particular fondness for the "Lord of the Rings" series and old Westerns. His love for adventure extended to fishing, especially at his brother-in-law Rich's home, and swimming. Daniel was also a regular at estate sales, garage sales, and enjoyed the thrill of buying and selling items on Craigslist or Marketplace. His zest for life was evident in his love for Mexican food and attending concerts.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife Debbie and family: mother Carolyn of California; Father Clifford of Texas; siblings Karen (Clarence) of Texas, Garvin of Oklahoma, Kevin (Suzanne) of Arizona, Elaine, Joey, and Andrea of California; stepson Jonathon Short and in-laws Jim (Pauline) Long, Mike (Jan) Long and Lori (Bob) Lyon of Missouri, and Rich (Kay) Long of Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 4, 2024, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Talisman Condo Clubhouse, located at 409 W 104th St, Kansas City, MO 64114.
