Age 51, formerly of Penn Hills, was found March 18, 2010. Beloved son of Marjorie and the late Norman Van Tassel; loving brother of James Lee and William Paul Van Tassel; nephew of Robert & Lana Skipp and Lois Webb; cousin of Shannon & Roger Skipp & David, Tracey and Craig Webb. Well, I suppose this will be down before I know it. I just want you to know I think of you most every day. I still remember the lovely letter you wrote me and I didn't give you credit for the content. I'm sorry for that. Soon after I tried to find your resting site to lay flowers, but that was next to impossible. So Danny I will keep your family in my prayers and may you rest in peace. Never to be forgotten!

I don't know if Danny would have even remembered me, but i was a junior in high school when billy was a senior, and at first billy and I hung out and soon I was hanging out with Danny and Jimmy too. Danny and I had some great times together and recently I've been trying to find him to reestablish contact. I'm stunned and truly saddened by his death and your loss and I will always remember his easy smile and riding around with him on the back of his motorcycle.

I hope you're at peace now.

Its hard to think of Danny as an adult man becuz I remember him as a youngster and teenager.. He never forgot to visit his neighbors when he was home thru the years, and we always enjoyed the time he gave us. Rest in peace Danny.
