AGE: 49 • Point Pleasant Beach

Daniel P. Wolffe, 49, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away, Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014. Born in Belleville, he was raised in Middletown and later lived in Howell. For the past three years, he has resided in Point Pleasant Beach. Dan was an ironworker, for the past twenty-five years, and was a member of Iron Workers, Local No. 11, Newark. He loved the great outdoors, dirt bike riding, fishing, golfing, skiing, camping, and especially the beach.

He was predeceased by his mother, Marita Tully. Surviving are his son, Trevor Wolffe; and his father, Michael Wolffe and his wife Marianne. Also surviving are his brother, Michael Wolffe, Jr. and his significant other Jacqueline; sisters, Lisa Easton and her husband Stewart, Kathleen Wolffe, and Suzanne Joyce and her husband James; nieces and nephews, Robert Mara, Jessica Wolffe, Olivia Mara, Michael Tucker Wolffe, and Charles Easton; and many good friends.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 12:30 p.m. a prayer service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Daniel Wolffe Memorial Trust, for the benefit of his son Trevor's college education, would be appreciated. I lived with danny in utah with tom hermida i am so sorry for your lost we had some great times we both did ironwork together out there and are favorite thing to do was go rock climbing we always had so much fun i cant believe hes gone the world lost a great man and heaven gained a son sorry i couldnt make the viewing take care

We ran into Danny @ Monmouth Park last summer and he was so full of life. Deeply saddened of his passing. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends. Tim & Eleanor Connors.

I will miss you. So many fond memories come to mind when I think of you. I can't believe we will not be able to laugh together about these crazy antics. I will ski another run for you this coming weekend my friend. For all of Dan's family my prayers are with you all.
