Daniel Worzalla Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 21, 2024.
In Loving memory of Daniel A. Worzalla, born March 9, 1961, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, passed away at the age of 63 on April 15, 2024, in Anchorage, Alaska. Daniel will be remembered for his genuine kindness, caring spirit, and the love he generously shared. His remarkable sense of humor and joy that reflected in his smile touched the lives of all who knew him. A creative soul, Daniel also had a profound appreciation for the beauty of the great outdoors.

A testament to his faith, Daniel was a devout Christian, an ordained minister who found solace and strength in the Gospel. Dan was known for his creative talents, finding joy in painting, woodcutting, and the adventurous hobbies of gold panning and prospecting.

Educated at Almond-Bancroft School with further studies in Accounting Management at Mid-State Technical College, Daniel embraced knowledge and growth, shaping his path in both his career and personal endeavors.

Daniel leaves behind a cherished family. His mother, Doloris "Bonnie" Wallace, and father, Glen Sill. His daughter, Sarah Shaver and son, Jeremiah Worzalla. His memory is also cherished by his siblings, Gari Worzalla, Todd Worzalla, Christian Worzalla, Steve (Lorrie) Sill, Kimberlin (Kip) Barden, Naomi (Chris) Knudtson, Mandy (Dave) Sill, Ebony (Pete) Groshek, and his beloved grandchildren, Hanna, Tristan, and Murdoch. Daniel is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Daniel joins in eternal peace his late father, Gerald A."Animal" Worzalla; his brother Shawn Worzalla; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

The family and friends will gather for a service to honor the memory of Daniel A. Worzalla at a later date. His life, rich in love, laughter, and devotion. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Daniel's memory are invited to share a kind deed in his spirit or to enjoy a moment of reflection in nature, as he so often did.
